This astonishing tour to the Blue City of Bab Taza should ideally take place between May and August, when the corn poppies, the geraniums and the thousands of other variety of flower are in full bloom. This trip will take you into another dimension.

Day 1: Flight from Europe to Africa - For our first day in Africa, the hotel offers half-pension board. Our first briefing will take place in the evening, according to the different flight schedules.

Day 2: Fés - Chefchaouen - We will start our trip at a leisurely pace and enjoy the transparent almost surreal light that shines under the olive trees and fig trees. Our bike track twists and turns around the surrounding hills and through the most incredible landscapes. Both amateur and experienced bikers will see their travel dreams fulfilled throughout this eight-day tour.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - As we drive along forests of cedar trees, we will catch a glimpse of the ocean here and there. After a sharp bend, we suddenly arrive in Chefchaouen: the chief town of the province of the same name, noted for its buildings which feature a variety of shades of blue. We will spend the night in the very heart of the old city, in the Hotel Parador.

Day 4: Chefchaouen - Bab-Berret - Throughout this day, we will be driving off-road on non-existent tracks which seem to lose their way in the hemp, then hesitate and zigzag back to reality. Our route leads us to a turquoise bay in the Mediterranean Sea. We will pitch our tents and stopover on the very edge of a panoramic cliff. With our backs leaning against ancient oaks trees, we will contemplate the breathtaking landscape at our feet. This is Morocco in all its stunning splendour.

Day 5: Bab-Berret - Taza - Once again, our handlebars seems to flirt with the hemp plants which grow across thousands of hectares. We are now in the very midst of the so-called Golden Triangle. The track turns into the hills and takes us through ancient villages. The colours offered to our eyes are in perfect harmony, from the different shades of green of the local vegetation to the ochre of the surrounding terrain. Stopover in yet another charming hotel.

Day 6: Taza - Tizy-N'Taïda - The landscape changes dramatically as our bike track leads us through the snow-capped mountains of the Atlas range. Stopover in tents.

Day 7: Tizy-N'Taïda - Tarharhat - Old mining villages appear out of narrow canyons. Further along, the track takes us through high plains, scattered with hundreds of volcanic lakes. The view is unbelievable! We will pitch our tents under hundred-year-old cedar trees. The fire sizzles and, if we are lucky, the odd monkey might come to pay us a visit.

Day 8: Djebel Tarharhat - Fés - Return to Morocco's cultural capital. We will drive through a large variety of landscapes featuring lakes and grassy hills. Hmmm! Doesn't this remind you of ... Mongolia?
